Sheila (Bohnen) Ortlip, 52, of Hutchinson died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday, January 7, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson with Father Gerry Meidl celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in the St. Anastasia Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be 3 – 6 PM Wednesday and 10 – 11 AM Thursday at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson.

Sheila is survived by her husband, John Ortlip of Hutchinson; mother, Mary Bohnen of New Ulm; sisters, Brenda Guldan, Maureen Bohnen and Bridget Fischer all of New Ulm; brothers, Timothy Bohnen and Sharon Jones of Waseca, Kevin and ReNaye Bohnen of Buffalo Lake, Patrick and Missy Bohnen of Sleepy Eye; and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Bohnen; and by her grandparents.

Sheila Marie Bohnen was born January 4, 1963 in Sleepy Eye to Glenn and Mary (Callahan) Bohnen. She was a 1981 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Sleepy Eye. Sheila was united in marriage to John Ortlip on September 18, 1993 at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. After marriage they resided in Hutchinson where she was employed at Hutchinson Technology from 1983 - 1990 and the at The Pinske Edge in Plato from 1990 until the present.

Sheila loved spending time with family, friends and her pets. She also enjoyed bowling and volleyball.
