Elizabeth "Betty" Steinbach, 80, of New Ulm died Friday, February 8, 2019 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 15 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with Monsignor Douglas Grams celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 – 7 PM Thursday and 9 – 10 AM Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.
The Christian Mother's Society will pray the rosary at 4 PM Thursday at the Cathedral.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Kelli (Jason) Koch of New Ulm; sons, Michael (Kelly) Steinbach of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Steven Steinbach of Petaluma, California; grandchildren, Andrew Steinbach, Joseph Steinbach, Katherine Steinbach, Rachel Steinbach and Emily Steinbach; a sister, Rozanne Horn of Valparaiso, Indiana; and by her brother James Miller of Bullhead City, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Steinbach; a sister Sandra Spires; and by a brother John Wolucka.
Elizabeth Lou Wolucka was born March 29, 1938 in Gary, Indiana to Michael and Elizabeth (Gottschling) Wolucka. She was united in marriage to Frank Steinbach on December 5, 1964 in California. After marriage they lived in California until retiring and moving to New Ulm. Betty enjoyed bowling, the Wednesday Coffee Club at the B&L Bar and spending time with family and friends.
She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Christian Mother's Society.
