Linda Irene Trimnell, age 63, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at her home in New Ulm after a long and courageous battle with chronic illness.
Funeral service will be 11 am on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm, with Pastor Kathleen Ulland-Klinkner officiating. Inurnment will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery Columbarium.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm. The visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Linda is survived by her husband of almost 20 years, Gary Trimnell; children, Jason (Sara) Filzen, Jessica (Ryan) Boelter, Jenny Filzen, and Logan Trimnell; grandchildren, Ava and Landon Filzen, Zach and Raylyn Boelter; stepdaughter, Nina (Chris) DeLeo; stepson, Robert Trimnell; step grandchildren, Aly and Jayden DeLeo; siblings, Elaine Wurtzberger and friend John Clyne, Stan (Rose) Wurtzberger; sisters-in-law, Barb Wurtzberger, Cindy Wurtzberger, Debbie (Trimnell) and Dave Mattison; also many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Klein; brothers, Richard Wurtzberger, Dale Wurtzberger and Ken Wurtzberger; niece, Janelle Klein; mother and father-in-law, Elaine and Marlin Trimnell.
Linda Irene Wurtzberger was born January 18, 1959 in New Ulm, MN to Ben and Lorene (Kral) Wurtzberger. She grew up in rural Sleepy Eye, attended Holy Trinity Grade School in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm High School in 1977. Linda went on to pursue a degree at South Central College and graduated in 1979. She was employed at Haas Bakery in Sleepy Eye for several years before moving on to the Hy-Vee bakery in New Ulm where she worked for 36 years as a cake designer.
Linda was a very artistic individual with a kind soul towards animals who loved traveling, camping, fishing, walks on the beach, and spending time with her family, most importantly, her grandchildren.
Linda will be missed by all of us who knew and loved her. Blessed be her memory.
