Michael "Mike" Olson, age 69, of Brownton passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society in Winthrop.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH Chapel in New Ulm with Pastor Bob Miner officiating. Burial will follow in the Lafayette Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday and 10 – 11a.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH Chapel in New Ulm.

Mike is survived by his mother Alice Olson of Brownton; a daughter, Michelle (Charlie) Passa of Kandiyohi; sons, Jeremy (Sawyer) Olson of Fairfax, Jesse Olson of Glencoe; grandchildren, Mitchell, Lane, Mason, Lucas, HarleyAnn, MaryAlice, Erika and Emma; sisters, Cheryl (Michael "Fuzz") Fusaro of Everett, Washington, Karen Olson of Iowa; brothers, Peter "Shorty" Olson of Sydney, Montana, Oscar Olson of Winthrop, Oswald "Oz" of Winthrop and Wynn (Denise) Hughes of New Ulm.

He was preceded in death by his father Peter Olson.

Michael Edward Olson was born September 9, 1949 in Hendricks to Peter and Alice (Singsaas) Olson. Mike was self-employed as a farmer and a gravedigger.
